What some stormy weather these last few days. Wind played havoc with the sunflowers, a minor irritation to what other people have suffered.
All sunflowers now cut/fallen down, seed heads now drying ready for the birds during the Autumn and the stems also drying ready to be made into bug boxes next Spring.
Some strong hedgehog activity with two inseparable each night. Liking their new home, hope they winter there. Fox cubs try and play, most nights hedgehogs are happy to oblige but there is always the odd night.
Not so many moths at the moment with the weather so bad each night. Have the trap set under the hide until this stormy weather subsides.
