Saturday 28th July 2018

Very warm day until tonight! Tonight the weather changed somewhat, much cooler and heavy rain showers. Gardens needed it if nobody else?
This morning I attended an unveiling ceremony of a defibrillator at the community centre. This was with money collected following Matthews untimely death a few weeks ago. Matthews widow did the honour after a few words were spoken by a close family member. An astonishing amount of money was raised allowing for three defibrillators be fixed at strategic spots around Whitley.
The afternoon was spent installing a security light to the side of the house, one of the darkest areas of the garden. Also ordered a replacement steel security cupboard so will be ready to start replacing missing items once insurance is sorted.
The two trail cameras didn't appear to work last night so think these were also damaged during the incident on Sunday morning. They were found laying around the garden.
Very little wildlife sightings today other than a fat slug I have just seen sliding up the patio door! Did have a silver Y moth in the trap last night and managed a photograph of a thrush this afternoon.
