Mild but a wet and miserable day.
Some bad news today. After the excitement of seeing a baby hedgehog last night it was a disappointment to see the poor thing predated this morning. Trail camera confirmed it was a couple of local cats that were the culprits. A cut to the throat as they do to rats and squirrels.
Bad news but sadly something I have to accept.
Good news however was tonight seeing another young out with Mum and Dad. I used my headlight to capture these images.
Good also to see a young great spotted woodpecker and a young parakeet.
