A tribute tonight to Lorna's brother in law Doug. Doug passed away this morning just a few hours before his 91st birthday.
Over the years we have enjoyed numerous family events from picnics to family parties every two years at various locations.
We were always seen as the naughty boys of a party for the pranks we pulled or just getting into mischief or creating mayhem! Who can forget the moment we knocked out Aunty Bebe with a tennis ball at a picnic in Blenham Gardens or the time we had a smashing time with wine glasses at one of Aunty June's parties.
Only two weeks ago Doug was still joking with us, subject matter was the misuse with a reclining chair!
Most of our courting days were at Jean and Doug's house, I was forever grateful for the friendship you showed me back in those early days.
Doug, you were a true friend, I will miss you mate. RIP
