Friday 14th September 2018

Warm and sunny day. Reports of rain in Woodley this afternoon. We missed it, eas busy in the garden this afternoon planting chionodoxa, fritillary, allium, muscari, crocus and nectaroscordum bulbs. All bee/butterfly friendly.
Good to see the young great spotted woodpecker back today on the peanut feeder. Another good night for moths, star of the night was a small emerald. More good trail cam' images.
Remember Henry the baby hedgehog I reported as being ill last week. Received a call from the HHS Hospital in Thatcham today to report Henry is still with us. Not well and still unsure what the issue is but is alive and eating and drinking. Fingers crossed for the little fella.
