A most enjoyable and interesting day in London visiting a hidden gem.
Visited the The Royal Mail Little Trains underground system. Absolutely amazing, what a system, running underground covering all the main areas of London meaning no delays with traffic hold ups. Trains running every 4 minutes, 22 hours a day, every day of the year. Tunnel system was dug out by hand, hard to believe but true. The system closed in the seventies and thankfully nothing was touched until it was decided to open as a visitor attraction.
Trains now adapted to take visitors on a ride through the system stopping at stations to see what life was like working in difficult conditions all those decades ago.
A tiring day but well worth it.
