Another scorcher, will not like when weather breaks.
A day not doing much again, mostly keeping up with watering.
No dragonflies as far as I know emerged today but late last evening three emerged. Two from the ivy overhanging the pond. Found one on the decking but after 20 minutes gained strength and off it flew.
Two cubs and two hedgehogs out last night. Vixen also made an appearance which the trail video camera captured.
Stayed in the hide for a while early this morning, saw a cub eating left over hedgehog food. I was more fascinated however by the spider spinning its web in front of the camera.
Woodpecker out today in the robinia tree, was unable to tell if adult or young.

Image 1 - Southern hawker found on the decking.
"    2 - Gatekeeper butterfly on the hydrangea ( one in the observatory tonight which I have
                 to deal with).
"    3 - Moth on the side of house, lots of these this year.
"    4 - Passion flower, did not appreciate how much bees liked this flower.
"    5 - Fox cub and spider from the hide.
"    6 - Two fox cubs enjoying hog food.
     "    7 - Hedgehog objecting.
