Friday 6th October 2017

A superb day, warm and sunny all day with once again temp' reaching 19c this afternoon.
Day spent in the garden, bay tree now trimmed and shredded. All shreddings are now in the shrubbery border.
Jays have returned, well one at least. Spotted tonight at the monkey nut feeder. Few other birds about today but this was probably due to me working with the hedge trimmer and shredder.
Hopefully not but could be bad news re the hedgehogs. It looked as though the fox cub carried one away last night. No squealing so hoping it was a football. Can't wait to see the camera images for tonight in the morning, fingers crossed there are still two hedgehogs.
