Day in the garden carrying out one of my annual tasks. Emptying the compost bin, managed 50%. With rain forecast for the rest of the week I am not sure when this task will be complete.
Two years composting and I have another good load of soil which will be used as mulch in the borders. I always keep a couple of sackfulls for use in pots etc.
After a few days of frantic bird life during the cold spell it is now very quiet, hardly a bird to be seen now.
Did see the goldcrest again and managed a half decent photograph. So difficult to photograph these beauties.
