Monday 10th July 2017
Very warm and sunny with a slight breeze.
Enjoyed a dawn walk at Fobney, desperately require rain to start filling the lakes.
Arrived home at 7am to see dragonfly activity in the pond. That's my day sorted.
Followed one throughout the day but at least three emerged today. One sadly drowned in the pond.
No sign of woodpeckers or jays today but plenty of other bird activity. A fair few green finches about now. Loads of goldfinches and blackbirds.
Three fox cubs out last night and two hedgehogs. One cub and a hedgehog have formed a good friendship, good to watch the footage each morning.
