What a contrast in weather. Mild but wet pretty much all day. Gardens will certainly benefit.
On my early morning walk in the garden noticed three southern hawkers hanging with wings outstretched. Not a good day for drying out chaps.
A beetle was also seen on the decking looking as though it had crash landed. Now safely in the wood stack.
Birds are happy with the rain catching loads of worms from the lawn, first time for some of the youngsters.
Good to see a young great spotted woodpecker drinking early this morning as recorded by the video cam.
Tracker the racing pigeon failed to show up today, first time in three weeks. Be interesting to see if it returns?
A visit to Henry Street this morning for a butter dish. Don't ask!? Rest of the day in front of the desk top catching up.
