Thursday 20th July 2017

A complete contrast to last night, rain stopped but warm and overcast.
Morning spent still drying out the observatory. Doors open all day to allow what sun there is to help with the drying out.
Carpet and rug still sopping wet. Think will scrap and buy new. Not worth messing about.
Success in the pond again with more southern hawkers emerging this morning despite little sun and wet conditions. Two were seen, one hanging from the lily plant and one on the decking which I thought was vulnerable so moved to a safe place.
