Monday 3rd July 2017
Another superb day, very warm and sunny all day, cooling down now.
A good day in the garden spreading two sacks of spring shreddings on the bluebell walk by the new fence.
A lot of wildlife activity, young blue tits feeding from the peanut feeder, two young jays learning how to eat a monkey nut. Young starlings continue to empty nest boxes around the garden. Today it was the turn of the squirrel box and great tit box.
Moving the sacks of shreddings disturbed a fair few spiders, a good selection photographed as a record. For some reason the conservatory window board is attracting dragon and damselflies. Must be the smell of the polish, not!
