Mixed weather conditions today. Rain overnight. Little sun this morning then heavy rain again this afternoon but dried up giving us a pleasant evening.
Enjoyed a walk to Paul's Pond this morning, a walk I have enjoyed since the early 70s. Lacking colour this year as most of the leaves have already fallen. Good to see A few Gooseanders on the pond but sadly nothing else this year.
Wet afternoon spent preparing the garden for the family firework party. Prepared anticipating a fine evening?
Once Tan, Peter, William and Lizz arrived the party began. Loads of fireworks, a good fire and good food prepared by Margaret and Paul and the party was in full swing. A great evening, look forward to next year now.
