Another hot and sunny day, now this is summer.
Another day doing nothing much. A lot of watering early this morning, butts now empty so do I use the well water or hosepipe?
Two surprises today, a pair of foxes and the hedgehog out last night. Good news re the hedgehog. Must try and keep him/her.
A chafer appeared by the roses this morning and a crawley on the front door.
Swifts about again all day and into the evening.
Finished the day with a visit to the Mullens tonight to wish Celie a happy 17th birthday. It meant 17 years ago we were having a bbq with them as at breakfast time Marianne appeared with baby Celie, born at 3am! Will never forget the night and morning!
