Not a bad day, very mild and mostly sunny but was spoilt by showers this afternoon.
Managed to stain the alpine house today so really looking good now. Will not look at its best until the wild flower meadow has been created once the fruit cage is down. Winter job I think.
Another night of an empty moth trap, already tonight I have photographed a moth on the front door frame. Disappointed not seeing what I call rather special moths. Moths with colour or attitude.
A mouse was snapped by a trail camera in the bird food store last night, have no problem with this. In fact I am encouraging mice with so much food at hand. I have also left some fleece out to see if it will nest at some point. Have now set a camera in a very large flower pot, upended with a small hole made.
