Day was pretty good with sun, no wind and pretty mild until that is early afternoon. One heck of a rain storm with 5mm recorded within minutes. Once over rest of the afternoon was also pretty good.
Good to catch up with my friends at Lavers this morning, cutbacks have kicked in with no coffee offered! Can't believe I worked there for 15 years and what's more can't believe it has been over two years since I retired.
           Sorted out the pictures to re-hang in the newly decorated dining room. This a job to enjoy tomorrow. 
            Good to see the Wren starting to build in a snug that has been used for four years now. No further building material from the Starling or Squirrel in their respective boxes. Also good to see both the male and female Great Spotted Woodpecker.
