Sunday 2nd March 2014

A reasonable day, almost perfect in fact for the Reading Marathon. Chilly, overcast and dry. This all changed by late afternoon however. As at 8pm 28mm of rain had been recorded.
Temp' reached a high of 9c at mid-day with average wind speed at 2mph.
Watched the marathon as the runners passed 479. Good to see Barry again, has never missed a marathon and struggled this year with a damaged knee. Despite walking he still managed a time of just under 3 hours. Well done matey (last photograph).
Rest of the day spent working on the fireplace. Dining Room now finishes except for re-hanging the photographs.
Picture 1 - New Fireplace including a Ghost?
Rest of the photographs - Marathon.
