Lack of sun today and a little foggy making it difficult to appreciate the wonderful views of this area of Cornwall.
Day spent at Port Issac and Boscastle. Port Issac is a delightful harbour village made famous in recent years from the filming of Doc Martin. That aside Port Issac is just a pretty place to be with narrow streets and quaint cottages. One cottage being called 'Pump'.
Boscastle of course suffered big time from the floods in 2004. Having now visited the area I can't believe the water was ever that deep or wide. It is nothing more than a stream running through Boscastle. All the cottages and business premises that were destroyed have now been re-built exactly as per original.
