Morning spent creating space in the Observatory for the 11 Elderly Ladies due for this afternoons tea party.
Jill (my sister) is involved with 'help the elderly' and arranges monthly trips out. For two years now we have offered afternoon tea to these wise old birds. Good to see them again. Lorna and one of the girls had a bit of a moment - it transpired they knew one another when Lorna was at Chiltern Edge School. Lorna was the first pupil to gain an 'O' level at the school and this lady was the school secretary and remembered the moment well. Small world.
A good afternoon was had by all and we are booked already for a visit in 2015.
