Disembarked at 8.45am for the transfer to Inverness Station. Here I hired a car for the next stage of the holiday.
After booking into the Premier Inn (home for next 5 days) and a quick lunch we then drove to Barbara in Culloden. Stayed for the afternoon catching up on gossip. It is of course an emotional time for me whenever I visit. Never a day goes by when I don't think of Ian, but to be visiting his home and Barbara it just brings back so many memories.
To finish the day we all enjoyed a meal at the Thyme Restaurant.
