Tuesday 10th June 2014

Very warm day.
My favourite job of the week - shopping at Morrisons. Get it over with, back by 11am.
Lorna anxious to start painting again so after a winter of spiders taking up residents in the studio it was time for a sweep. Printed some recent photographs that Lorna wishes to copy for painting. Good that she is still keen to expand this hobby.
My logs (Mouse project) are now marked and ready to hollow out. Chain saw job to start with but with blunt blades this was a non starter for today. B&Q tomorrow for replacements then can make a start in earnest.
No sign of the feral kitten today.
Over dinner tonight at 6.30 pm the Magpie started making one heck of a noise. Taken aback a bit as not seen/heard of the Magpies for some while.
On enjoying my last walk around the garden for the day I noticed 2 large white eggs that had been pecked at and emptied laying on the decking. Could this have been the Magpie having a go at the Pigeons nest, I wonder? Photograph tomorrow.
