Tuesday 20th May 2014

Hot day, can't believe it. Rain forecast tomorrow so will make the most of today's sun.
The two hour coach trip from Inverness to Kyle was amazing. The scenery was exquisite. Some of the best I have experienced.
Just outside Drumnadrochit there was the most incredible landslide of rock. Traffic help up for some while, a convoy car headed vehicles through the rubble.
Arrived in Kyle mid afternoon to be introduced to Lord of the Glens, a luxury ship that would be home for the next seven days.
We were made welcome by Brian (ship manager) with a wee drop of champs and nibbles followed by the safety drill.
Evening meal was just so good. If this is the level of quality we are to expect I can only say this is going to be one delightful holiday. Just hope the weather will be kind to us.
She was docked all night in Kyle allowing us free to go ashore if we wished.
Enjoyed a short walk before going back on board for a beer night cap.
Isle of Skye tomorrow.......
